General conditions of sale

The sale of wine and wine tastings of Azienda Agricola Castello di Tassarolo dei Marchesi Spinola S.S. are regulated by these General Sales Conditions.

All products purchased on www.castelloditassarolo.it are sold directly by Azienda Agricola Castello di Tassarolo dei Marchesi Spinola SS,with registered office in locality Alborina 1, 15060 Tassarolo (AL), VAT no. 01311590069

Castello di Tassarolo offers a selection of its wines on its website, aimed exclusively at consumers over 18 (eighteen) years of age, in accordance with the law in force and the regulations on electronic commerce.

Through e-commerce, shipments are only made in Italy.

The General Terms and Conditions govern the offer, transmission, acceptance, shipment, purchase methods and the right of withdrawal of orders for the purchase of products on the site.

Conclusion of the contract

In order to conclude the contract for the purchase of one or more products, the customer must fill in the order form in electronic format, following the relevant instructions. The customer must indicate all the required elements.

The contract shall be concluded as soon as the customer receives a copy of the acceptance of the contract by e-mail with the order confirmation, which the customer is obliged to check in order to report any errors.

Validity of offers and prices

All product prices are in euros and include VAT. For greater transparency, the cost of transport is shown separately on the order form and invoice.

The price of the products may be modified by Castello di Tassarolo at any time, it being understood that the price charged to the user shall be that published on the product sheet at the time the order is placed.

The essential characteristics of the products are presented in special product sheets, which can be viewed directly on the website. However, the images and colours of the products offered for sale on the site may not correspond to the real ones, so these images must be understood as indicative.

Payments

The method of payment of the price of the wine is indicated on the order form.

The accepted methods of payment are: bank transfer in advance, credit cards, Paypal.

The invoice will be issued together with the shipment and a courtesy copy will accompany the goods.

Shipping and delivery of products

Castello di Tassarolo ships its products by traditional courier, normally the products are delivered within 7/8 working days from receipt of the order on the website.

In the case of bank transfer, the timeframe starts from the date of confirmation of receipt of funds.

Shipping is free of charge for orders above a threshold indicated on the site. If the customer prefers to receive the goods in a shorter time, it is possible to organise shipment by express courier: in this case the costs of shipment and the cost of the protective shock-proof packaging, required by the courier, are at the customer’s expense.

In the event that packages are visibly damaged, please always accept with reservation.

Information on the right of withdrawal

According to the provisions of Legislative Decree 206/05, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract for the purchase of products, without any penalty, within 10 working days from receipt of the goods and upon written notice to be forwarded to Castello di Tassarolo.  On the other hand, it is not possible to exchange a purchased product with another one at no additional cost.

The goods must be returned to the courier in their original packaging and intact.

The cost of returning purchased products shall be borne by the customer, in accordance with art. 5, paragraph 6, Legislative Decree no. 185 of 22/05/1999.

If all the conditions are met, Castello di Tassarolo will refund any sums already collected for the purchased products in the shortest time possible and in any case within 30 days of notification of withdrawal.

Applicable law and dispute resolution

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and in particular by Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005, on the Consumer Code, with specific reference to the regulations on distance contracts and by Legislative Decree no. 70 of 9 April 2003 on certain aspects of e-commerce.

The sale of products and/or provision of services takes place in the territory of the Italian State and is subject to the laws in force in the Italian Republic. The competent court for the resolution of any controversy shall be that of Alessandria.

Any updates and amendments to the Conditions will be published on our website and will be immediately effective from the date of publication.
